Carpathian Folk Festival 2011

Carpathian Folk Festival Review and Report >>>

As president of Minnesota Hungarians, Inc., I extend a sincere and cordial invitation to all of you who would like to preserve your ethnic and cultural heritage, are interested in understanding other cultures, and, enjoy and support folk arts, to participate in the activities and events of
“Carpathian Folk Festival” which is being held between
September 30th and October 5th, 2011.

Minnesota Hungarians is a fiscal year 2011 recipient of a Folk and Traditional Art grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board. This activity is funded, in part, by the arts and heritage fund as appropriated by the Minnesota State Legislature with money from the Legacy Amendment vote of the people of Minnesota on November, 2008.

I am delighted and thankful that with this grant we have been able to organize for the first time a folk festival of such quality and variety representing the folk art of not only Hungary but neighboring cultures.

I would be pleased to see you at any of the five events of the festival.
Sincerely
Csilla Grauzer
President, Minnesota Hungarians
