The Minnesota Hungarians invites you and your family to our 2018  Spring-Easter Membership Fundraiser Dinner. With your membership support our organization is able to obtain cultural programs for over 125 years in Minnesota. 


Date: Saturday, April 7th, 5pm-9pm

Location: Unity Church-Unitarian, 733 Portland Av, St Paul, MN 55104 - Parish Hall

Entrance: 12 years and older: $10; FREE under 12

Please bring an appetizer, a salad, a side dish, a stew dish or a dessert for the potluck for about 10 people to share! Hungarian smoked sausage, Easter ham and bread provided by the Minnesota Hungarians.
Bring your favorite sweet home baked goods (cakes, coffee cakes, cookies etc) for the baking and desssert contest and win a special suprise! Or just try out all the sweet goods and give your vote to the best!
  • Easter egghunt at 5 pm: sponsord by the Minnesota Hungarians. Registration required by 4/1/2018.
  • Baking contest: please bring your favorite home baked goods for a special suprise!
  • Raffle 
  • Concert by Soul Acoustics : acoustic project of guitar player Tomi T-Time Majoros and his special guest
  • Easter craft for kids and adults
  • Dance: retro party from the 90`s
  • Easter poem recitation contest: enter with your best `locsolo` poem and win a bottle of wine (or cologne)!

Live Music by Soul Acoustics

Soul Acoustics is a talented duo with a charismatic performance, and sophistication with style. They are passionate about music and have a glorious repertoire from acts as diverse as Frank Sinatra, Stevie Wonder and more.


Tamas Majoros (guitar)

Tamas Majoros - Guitar, originally from Tarcal, Hungary. He lived in Budapest for about 10 years before he moved to the USA. He has performed in various bands, first he learned to play the guitar from his father Sandor Majoros, later Tamas Mohai was his mentor and guitar teacher. He played and toured with Lil'Slim Band, Groove Steady, and The Not Guilty Band. He grew up listening mostly rock music, and when he was 22 he started shifting towards jazz and funk. Later he became obsessed with blues. Today he listens to a mixture of blues, jazz, r&b, funk and rock.Although he never purposely tried to imitate Carlos Santana, often times people say: " he man you sound like Santana”
