Judit  Baracskai, Soprano
She was born in Verbasz in Vojvodina, Serbia. She started to learn to play the violin at the age of 7, and completed a Musical Vocational School in Subotica, when she also learned Music Theory and completed 6 years of  vocal education. She moved to Szeged, Hungary to complete her degree at the Szeged University Faculty of Music, where she is currently working on her master degree in solo singing with her Professor Dr. Maria Temesi. She is invited to perform at many events throughout Szeged and Hungary and she is also participating in international singing competitions. She is supported by the Rotary and Soroptimist Clubs of Szeged.

Ferenc Koczka, Conductor / Pianist

Maestro Koczka began his musical studies at the Szeged Music Conservatory and continued  in Piano and Composition at the Szeged University Faculty Music.  He completed his Conductor’s Degree in 1988. For more than 30 years he has been working at the Szeged National Theater as Conductor where he conducted 35 operas, 20 operettas and 25 musicals.  In addition he has been the Choir Manager and the Executive Director of the Theater for 5 years  Currently he is also teaching at the Faculty of Music at the Szeged University. He is also a Cultural Manager and organizes hundreds of cultural events and programs to introduce talented young musicians in Szeged and other parts of Hungary as well as in the U.S. and in Europe.

Ferenc Gulyás, Folk Musician

He began his music career with the Zither Orchestra in Sándorfalva, then he completed his education at the Szeged University. In addition to his solo performing career, he has also played in different ensembles (NOX and Örökség “Heritage”). He is also a  folk music educator at the Szeged University.  He makes different folk music instruments and can play on and sing with a wide variety of instruments. He will introduce 15 folk music instruments to the American and Canadian audience including zither, bagpipes, hurdy-gurdy, pears-music, Turkish whistles, horns, harp, tambourine, lute, flute, kaval, overtone flute, drums, rattles, horns jug and looking forward to share the rich heritage of the Hungarian folk music instruments and provide an unforgettable cultural experience.
