Hungarian Festival

5th Harvest Festival

On September 15th , the Minnesota Hungarians held it’s 5 th Annual Harvest Festival at the Millner’s Heritage Winery. The event was a great success where hundreds of guests had a
chance to experience a taste of Hungarian culture and culinary delicacies created by members of the Minnesota Hungarians organization, such as Gulyás soup, roasted sausage, ribs with a signature spice rub, homemade desserts and of course the favorite fried bread, lángos.
Like any great Hungarian festival should have, there was a mustache contest, palacsinta eating contest for kids and adults, folk dancing by the Vidéki dancers, grape stomping, fantastic live music by Szászka band and naturally lots of great wine by Millner’s.
We would like to thank Millner’s Winery for once again providing a beautiful venue for the event and to all the volunteers for their outstanding hard work. We couldn’t have done it
without them! Article by Adam Szaloczy
