URBAN EXPEDITION: HUNGARY

The purpose of Urban Expedition is to have FUN and to LEARN! Enjoy a chance for your family to experience Hungarian music, dance, arts & crafts and more without leaving St. Paul.

Location: Landmark Center, (75 West 5th Street, St.Paul)

"I like working with Minnesota Hungarians because you can see they have a lot of pride in their country," says Kate Thompson, program manager for Landmark Center. "They are really excited to showcase their culture. We are expecting 600 to 1,000 people to attend this event. They will be sharing their heritage with the larger Twin Cities community."

A Landmark Center es a Minnesotai Magyarok sok érdekes programmal várták az érdeklődőket. Volt nyelvsarok, Rubik kocka sarok - gyerekek összemérhették tudásukat, sakkozhattak Ficsor Laci bácsival, hallgathattak magyar népmeséket, fellépett a Vidéki Néptáncegyüttes, volt tánctanítás is, zenélt a Szászka együttes, készíthettek farsangi álarcot, és koronát, valamint még sok magyar vonatkozású érdekességgel ismerkedhettek meg. Volt retes es a gyerekek kepeslapot keszithettek es kuldhettek a Landmark Center hozzajarulasaval!
